Fernando Zapata

Fernando Zapata has extensive experience in information technology management, currently serving as Jefe de Oficina de Tecnologias de la Informacion at Gobierno Regional Piura. Previously, Fernando held the position of Chief Technology Officer at EEDE Tarjetas Peruanas Prepago from January 2021 to January 2024 and worked in producción y soporte at TARJETAS PERUANAS PREPAGO from March 2011 to January 2021. Responsibilities included ensuring the protection of information assets in line with established security management policies and standards, as well as overseeing the execution of tasks related to the generation, activation, and reloading of cards with Unibanca. Fernando holds a degree in Ingeniería de Sistemas with a focus on technology project management from Universidad César Vallejo, completed in 2006.
