Assia Felemenkdjian

Assia Felemenkdjian has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Assia began their career as a Candidate Attorney at Jay Mothobi Incorporated in 2008 and completed their training contract in September 2009. Assia then worked as a Legal Advisor at Sentech from December 2009 to February 2011. From May 2011 to December 2012, they worked as a Contract Lawyer at Synergy Legal, seconded to Huron Consulting Group.

In 2013, Assia held multiple contract lawyer positions. Assia worked at Hudson from January to March 2013 and at Hays (seconded to Corbetts International Construction Lawyers) from April to May 2013. From August 2013 to February 2017, they worked as a Contract Lawyer and Team Leader at Epiq Systems.

Assia then transitioned into the role of Senior Regulatory and Payments Counsel (South African Qualified) at OPEN BANKING from February 2017 to June 2022. In July 2022, they joined Shieldpay as a Senior Legal Counsel and held the position until January 2023.
