Baidi Li

Baidi Li has a diverse work experience background. Baidi currently holds the position of SVP Commercial, APAC at Go City® since April 2022, where they are responsible for overseeing commercial operations in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of Trade Sales APAC at Go City® from September 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining Go City®, Baidi Li was the Head of Growth Initiatives at Magpie from September 2020 to July 2021. Baidi was responsible for driving growth initiatives and strategies for the company.

From February 2020 to August 2020, Baidi Li worked as the Regional Director, APAC & MEA at Viator, where they led the company's operations and growth in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East & Africa regions.

Prior to their role at Viator, Baidi Li had a successful tenure at TripAdvisor, where they held various leadership positions. From February 2019 to February 2020, they served as the Regional Director, APAC, responsible for the growth and expansion of the online marketplace of tour and activity businesses across the APAC region. Baidi achieved significant growth in net revenue, monetizable supplies, and new vendor contracting. From April 2018 to January 2019, they held the position of Regional Director, APAC, Tripadvisor Experiences at TripAdvisor.

Baidi Li also worked at Viator for several years, starting in 2012. Baidi held the roles of Regional Director, APAC from February 2014 to April 2018, Product Sales Director, APAC from July 2013 to January 2014, and Product Sales Manager, Asia from January 2012 to June 2013.

Prior to their roles in the travel industry, Baidi Li gained experience in the art and design field. Baidi worked as a Designer/Co-founder at B&G Art Studio in Beijing, China from September 2005 to June 2010. Baidi successfully published 18 children's books and hosted a solo exhibition for the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics.

Baidi Li also worked as an Art Director at China Top Brand from June 2006 to July 2007, where they played a crucial role in setting the visual direction, layout, and production for the magazine. Baidi managed a team of art editors and illustrators and collaborated with the chief editor to refine market strategy and build strong relationships with advertisers.

Prior to their professional career, Baidi Li worked as a Deputy Operations Manager and Group Leader at Intrepid Travel from July 2008 to June 2010 and from June 2007 to July 2008, respectively.

Baidi Li has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Industrial Design from the Beijing Institute of Technology. They also have a second Master of Arts (MA) degree in Integral Design from the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart. Additionally, Baidi Li holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Industrial Design from the Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Leading Operational Excellence from MIT Sloan Executive Education.
