Danae Vara Borrell

Danae Vara Borrell has a long and varied work experience. In 2020, they became the CPO & Co-Founder at Gocleer. Danae has been an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council since 2018. From 2016 to 2020, they held various positions at Red Points, including VP of Product, Director of Product, and Product Owner. In 2016, they were also a UX Researcher / Marketing Manager at UserZoom. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Lecturer at Universitat de Barcelona. From 2012 to 2015, they were UX & Customer Insights at Digital Legends Entertainment. Danae was also a Lecturer at La Salle Campus Barcelona and UPC School (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) from 2012 to 2016. From 2011 to 2012, they were Tech Market Research Manager and Project Manager at La Salle Technova Barcelona, and Producer and Game Designer at Digital Legends Entertainment - laSalle.

Danae Vara Borrell has an extensive educational background. Danae obtained a Master's Degree in Fintech and Financial Innovation from UPC School (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) in 2021. In 2010-2011, they obtained a Master's Degree in Multimedia Creation, Design and Engineering from La Salle BCN. Danae also obtained a Grad Degree in Product Design from the University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona in 2002-2007. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Design from the University of Southampton in 2002-2007. Danae also obtained a Bachelor's Degree (incomplete) in Industrial and Product Design from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2000-2002. Danae also has two additional certifications: Expert Scrum Foundations from EuropeanScrum.org - Scrum and Agile with European Accreditation in 2016 and Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance in 2019.
