Hugo Godoy has a diverse education history. Hugo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, which they completed between 2009 and 2014. Following this, they pursued further studies in computer and information systems security/information assurance as a graduate student at Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2019 to 2021.

In 2016, Hugo attended the University of La Verne, where they completed a program on Advanced Issues in Project Management within the field of organizational leadership. More recently, in 2022, they attended Ohio University with a focus on marketing/marketing management, although they did not obtain a specific degree.

Additionally, Hugo has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Hugo earned the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf in 2020, the SQL Full certification from SoftBlue in 2014, and the Preparatory course DB2 DBA certification from Perallis IT Innovation in 2012. Hugo also holds a B1/B2 US visa for business and tourism purposes, which they acquired in 2015. In 2020, they obtained the DevOps Essentials Professional Certificate (DEPC) from CertiProf, and in 2014, they successfully completed the TOEFL iBT examination administered by Sao Paulo State University- The Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP).
