Kushan Wickramanayake

Kushan Wickramanayake has a strong background in software quality engineering with experience in various positions. Kushan currently holds the role of Senior Lead - Software Quality Engineering at Velaris, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Pearson from 2016 to 2022, progressing through multiple roles including Senior Lead - Software Quality Engineering, Lead - Software Quality Engineering, Associate Lead - Software Quality Engineering, and Senior Software Quality Engineer. Before joining Pearson, Kushan worked at John Keells Computer Services Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst and Software Quality Assurance Analyst from 2014 to 2016. Kushan also worked at The Loop as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer from 2012 to 2014, and at hSenid Mobile Solutions (Pvt) Ltd as a Trainee Software Quality Assurance Engineer from April 2012 to September 2012.

Kushan Wickramanayake started their education in 2005 at St. Aloysius College in Galle. During this time, they studied Mathematics, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree. In 2009, they enrolled at the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) and pursued a degree in Information and Communication Technology (IT). Kushan completed their studies in 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Kushan obtained the ISTQB-Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) in April 2013. Kushan later acquired the ISTQB-CTFE - Agile Tester certification from ISTQB in June 2018.
