Prior to these roles, Heleen worked as an Executive Coach and a Member at Arootah and The DaVinci Network, respectively. Heleen also served as an Executive Coach PCC at SkillCycle, focusing on unlocking individual potential and facilitating career growth.

As the Founder and an Executive Coach at The Coaching Forward, Heleen implemented a data-driven coaching approach backed by neuroscience to bring about transformational change in individuals and organizations. Heleen also had the opportunity to work as an Executive Coach at BRAVANTI, formerly known as BPI group U.S., helping clients achieve their professional goals.

Heleen Westerhuijs has a diverse education history that spans various fields and disciplines. In 2003, they attended the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, where they pursued a degree in International Design & Style, focusing on Design History. Following this, they enrolled in the University of Amsterdam and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Art History in 2007. Continuing their education at the same university, Heleen pursued a Master's degree in Art- and Architectural History, completing it in 2008.

In 2008, Heleen attended the Language Institute Regina Coeli, where they focused on Business English writing and speaking, acquiring a C2-level (CEF near-native) certification. Later in 2010, they pursued advanced studies at New York University, specializing in Editing. In 2016, Heleen returned to New York University for advanced studies in Writing.

In terms of professional certifications and training, Heleen completed the Power & Influence® Coaching | Executive Coaching program at the Center for Executive Coaching in 2017-2018, earning a certification from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Heleen also completed the Coaching Practices program at the University of California, Davis in 2018 and enrolled at the Mindsight Institute for Attachment Styles and its impact on decision-making training in the same year. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Positive Psychology by Dr. Martin Seligman and Dr. Angela Duckworth from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018.

Continuing their professional development, Heleen pursued further training in various fields. In 2019, they attended Yale University, studying Psychology. Heleen also studied Maximum Productivity at The Brian Tracy Academy and Positive Intelligence® at Positive Intelligence™ in the same year. In 2019, they attended the University of Chicago to study Understanding The Brain: Neurobiology of Everyday Life.

Heleen's education history further extends to recent years. In 2021, they completed the Inner MBA program at New York University and attended the NeuroLeadership Institute NYC for Brain-Based Conversing™ training.
