Paul McDowell

Paul McDowell is currently the Vice President and Treasurer at GoDaddy. Prior to this, they held the same position at Zeevo Group from May 2018 to March 2021. From January 2013 to January 2017, they were the Vice President and Assistant Treasurer at Medtronic (previously Covidien until acquisition). In this role, they were responsible for global cash management, short term cash / working capital forecasting, bank account management and strategy, investments, counterparty risk, subsidiary funding – internal and external, foreign exchange exposure, business partnering especially emerging markets, repatriation strategies, treasury operations, M&A due diligence and integration, treasury policies and regional treasury centres. Paul also managed a staff of 12 persons across four global locations. McDowell has also served as the Director of International Accounting / Managing Director at Covidien from July 2007 to December 2012 and as the Vice President - Financial Controller at Capmark from June 2005 to June 2007. Paul started their career as the Financial Controller at Tyco International from February 2003 to June 2005.

Paul McDowell's educational career includes a BA (Hons) 2.1 in Accountancy from Ulster University, and certifications from the Association for Financial Professionals in Certified Treasury Professional, CIMA in Chartered Global Management Accountant, and CIMA in Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Paul also has an Executive Education in General Management Program from The Wharton School.

Paul McDowell works with Jim Gibson - VP of Finance, Mike Althoff - Senior Director of Finance, and Jonathan Wong - Senior Director of Finance. Their manager is Mark Mccaffrey, Chief Financial Officer.
