Mark Pecaro has extensive experience in sales and leadership roles. Mark is currently the VP & Head of Sales at Firefly since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Mixpanel as the Director of Sales for North America Enterprise and Strategic, leading a team in accelerating enterprise growth using product-led adoption techniques. From 2020 to 2022, they served as the Director of Sales for North America Enterprise at Sumo Logic, where they built and led an agile and adaptive sales team. Mark also held the position of Director, GTM Growth & Productivity at Sumo Logic, where they focused on increasing revenue and scaling globally. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Enterprise Sales Account Executive at Sumo Logic. Before joining Sumo Logic, they were a Sales Director at MapR Technologies, where they supported and grew the partnership with a global strategic ISV. Prior to that, they held various sales roles at Cisco, including Enterprise Account Manager, Mid-Market Account Manager, and Territory Account Manager, where they achieved significant growth in key accounts. Mark started their professional journey as an Account Manager at ADT and served as an Aviation Maintenance Technician in the US Navy.
Mark Pecaro began their education in 2001 at San Diego State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business. Mark completed this program in 2004. Recently, in 2020, Mark enrolled at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they are currently a Master of Business Administration (MBA) student. The expected completion of their MBA is in 2023.
