Emina Abrahamsdotter

Emina Abrahamsdotter is a gender specialist with extensive work experience in gender mainstreaming, gender equality, and gender-responsive budgeting. Emina has worked for various international development organizations, including GoGender, DAI, NIRAS International Consulting, CHARE EEIG, Nordic Consulting Group Denmark, FCG Finnish Consulting Group, and SIPU International. Emina'sroles have included CEO and Co-founder, Project Leader and Mentor, Gender-Responsive Budgeting Consultant, Gender Support Desk Service Consultant, Gender Mainstreaming Consultant, Women's Initiatives Advisor, Gender Equality Expert, Integrity Specialist, and Regional Training Coordinator. Emina'sresponsibilities have included designing and providing technical support, collecting qualitative data, assessing gender equality uptake, coaching on gender equality, and promoting linkages between local and national level.

Emina Abrahamsdotter earned their Master of Social Studies degree from Lund University between 1999 and 2002. Emina'seducation included the study of Political Science, Economics, and Law. Emina later attended the University of Sarajevo between 2007 and 2011, where they earned a Master of Religious Studies degree. Emina'sacademic focus at this institution was the study of the faith-based organizations in the local development in Albania.
