Oakleigh Thorne

President & CEO at Gogo

Oakleigh Thorne is the current President and CEO of Gogo. Before taking on this role, they were the CEO of eCollege.com from May 2000 to July 2007, when it was sold to Pearson Plc. Prior to their work at eCollege.com, Thorne was the CEO of CCH Inc. from September 1986 to August 1996. During their time at CCH Inc., they oversaw the sale of the company to Wolters-Kluwer in January 1996. Thorne began their career as a reporter for the Baltimore News American in January 1981 and later became a correspondent for the Boston Globe in May 1978.

Oakleigh Thorne has an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Columbia Business School as well as a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University. Oakleigh also attended Milton Academy.
