David Harper

David Harper has a diverse work experience in the field of research and linguistics. David started their career as a Spanish Instructor at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2004 and continued in that role until 2009. David then joined Rosetta Stone as a Linguist where they worked from 2009 to 2013. After that, they were promoted to the position of Senior Researcher at Rosetta Stone and worked in that role until 2021. In 2021, David joined GoGuardian as a Senior Research Associate and later transitioned to the role of Researcher in 2023.

David Harper has a strong educational background in linguistics and Spanish language. David has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Linguistics from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Spanish Linguistics and a Master's degree in Hispanic Literature, both obtained from the same university. Prior to their graduate studies, they earned a Bachelor's degree from Hiram College, with a major in Spanish and a minor in Business.

In addition to their formal education, David has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills in related fields. David completed courses such as "Choice Modeling for Marketing in R" and "Introduction to SQL" at DataCamp, and "Intermediate Python" at an unspecified institution. David also completed courses in "Mixed and Hierarchical Linear Models" from The Institute for Statistics Education at Statistics.com and obtained the "EF Language Test German 90 Advanced" certification from EF Education First.

David also has an interest in database queries and has completed a course on "SQL and R-Introduction to Database Queries" from The Institute for Statistics Education at Statistics.com. David has also completed a course on "Visualization in R with ggplot2" from the same institution, although the dates of completion for these two courses are not specified.
