Heather Wren has an extensive work experience history. Heather currently works as a Technical Support Specialist at GoGuardian, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Virginia Beach City Public Schools as a Special Project Support from 2021 to 2022. Before that, they worked at Seesaw Learning as a District Support Specialist from 2021 to 2021. Heather also has a long history with Virginia Beach City Public Schools, where they worked as an Instructional Technology Specialist from 2017 to 2020, and as a Teacher from 2008 to 2017. Additionally, they were the Owner of Initial Threads from 1999 to 2008. Heather began their career as a Teacher at DeKalb County School District from 1987 to 1998.

Heather Wren has a Master's Degree in Middle School Education with a focus on Language Arts and Science from The University of Georgia. Heather also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a specialization in Elementary Education and Hearing Impaired Education from Flagler College.
