Jiaru Liu

Jiaru Liu has a diverse work experience that includes roles in data engineering, machine learning teaching, business analytics, and data consulting. Currently, Jiaru works as a Data Engineer II at GoGuardian, where they have been employed since February 2023. Prior to this, Jiaru worked as a Data Engineer I at GoGuardian from April 2021 until January 2023. Jiaru gained valuable experience as a Data Engineering Intern at Kroll Bond Rating Agency, LLC from October 2020 to January 2021, where they worked on developing Python packages, Docker containerization, and building machine learning models. They also served as a Machine Learning Teaching Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School from September 2020 to December 2020. Jiaru's experience also includes working as a Student Business Analyst at Regatta Craft Mixers in June 2020 and as a Student Data Consultant at Emerson from January 2020 to May 2020. Jiaru's early work experience includes an internship at NetEase Henan in January 2018, where they were involved in data analysis and content adjustment, resulting in a significant increase in page views. Jiaru Liu completed a Master's Degree in Business Analytics from Washington University in St. Louis from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2019, Jiaru obtained a Bachelor's Degree in E-Commerce/Electronic Commerce from Dalian University of Technology. In 2018, Jiaru attended UCLA for a summer school program focused on Statistics/Management.

Additionally, Jiaru Liu has obtained various certifications in the field of data science and technology. In June 2021, Jiaru completed the "AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In the same month, Jiaru also received the "The Complete Hands-On Introduction to Apache Airflow" certification from Udemy. In May 2021, Jiaru obtained the "Git Essential Training: The Basics" certification from LinkedIn.

In September 2020, Jiaru completed the "Managing Big Data with MySQL" certification from Coursera. In May 2020, Jiaru obtained the "Hands-On Tableau Training For Data Science" certification from Udemy, as well as the "Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning" certification from Coursera. Lastly, in August 2019, Jiaru completed the "Introduction to Marketing" certification from Coursera.
