Jocelyn Flint Scmp

Jocelyn Flint, SCMP, has extensive experience in internal communications, knowledge management, and employee training. Jocelyn is currently working at GoGuardian as the Senior People Communications & Knowledge Manager, where they develop strategies to build company culture and implements self-service practices. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Internal Communications Manager, People at GoGuardian, where they developed internal communications strategies and created content. Before joining GoGuardian, Jocelyn worked at M-Files Corporation as the Global Community Manager, where they launched and managed a global user community. Jocelyn also has experience in the travel industry, having served as the Senior Director of Employee Communications & Training at Academic Travel Abroad, where they designed and implemented an employee training program. Before that, they held the role of Director of Communications at the same company, where they developed internal communications plans and built an employee community. Furthermore, Jocelyn has experience at CET Academic Programs, where they served as a Senior Programs Consultant & Writer and later as the Manager, China Programs. In these roles, they streamlined organizational systems, redesigned processes, trained staff on compliance, and managed a remote team.

Jocelyn Flint, SCMP has a diverse education history. Jocelyn holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Communications from Grand Valley State University, a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Chinese Studies from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in East Asian Studies from Wesleyan University. In addition, Jocelyn has also studied at the International Chinese Language Program (IUP and ICLP) in Taipei, Taiwan.

Furthermore, Jocelyn has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills. Jocelyn is a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance, a Strategic Communication Management Professional (SCMP) from the Global Communication Certification Council, and has completed training courses such as "Google Slides Essential Training" and "PowerPoint: Designing Better Slides" from LinkedIn. Jocelyn has also received certifications in areas like User Experience (UX) Foundations: Information Architecture, Customer Success, External Community Management Fundamentals, Instructional Design, Internal Community Management Fundamentals, and Certified Tourism Ambassador. Additionally, Jocelyn has passed the Google Analytics Individual Qualification exam twice, once in 2022 and once in 2021, offered by the Google Digital Academy (Skillshop).
