Prerna Mahato

Prerna Mahato has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Prerna started their career as a Student Volunteer at National Service Scheme in 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Research Intern at both National Metallurgical Laboratory and Tata Steel, gaining experience in research and development. Prerna also had a summer internship at Usha Martin Limited during the same year. In 2018, they volunteered at INDIA Redefined, working on sustainability initiatives.

In 2020, Prerna took on the role of an Innovation Intern at 3R ZeroWaste Private Limited, where they focused on waste management and sustainability. Prerna then interned as a Human Resources Intern at Bhumi, a non-profit organization, in 2020 and took on responsibilities such as recruitment and engagement activities.

In 2021, Prerna joined Edureka as a Talent Acquisition Associate and later became a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. Their responsibilities included hiring IT professionals as instructors across various technology platforms and job boards.

Currently, Prerna Mahato is working at GoGuardian as a Talent Acquisition Partner. Prerna is responsible for end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition for leadership and managerial roles in engineering, software development, product, and DevOps.

Overall, Prerna has gained valuable experience in talent acquisition, human resources, sustainability, research, and volunteering throughout their career.

Prerna Mahato completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from SRM University between 2016 and 2020. Prior to this, they attended Sacred Heart Convent School in Jamshedpur from 2001 to 2016, where they obtained the Indian School Certificate with a focus on Pure Science.

In addition to their formal education, Prerna Mahato has also obtained various certifications. In May 2020, they received a certification in Bulk Material Handling from Tata Steel and completed a course on Introduction to Molecular Spectroscopy at The University of Manchester. In April 2020, they obtained a certification in Heat Treatment of Steel from Tata Steel. In October 2019, they completed a course on Introduction to Physical Chemistry through Coursera and also obtained a certification in Mastering of Bitumen for Better Roads and Innovative Application. Additionally, they received a certification in Desalination of Water Process from the Indian Desalination Association in March 2018.

Throughout their education, Prerna Mahato has also been recognized for their achievements and contributions. In September 2014, they received the Rastrapati Award for Guiding Movement from the President of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee. In April 2013, they were awarded the Bishop Roderick's trophy for Selfless Social Service by Sacred Heart Convent School.
