Veronica Vega

Veronica Vega began their work experience as a Youth Institute Tech Instructor at YMCA of Greater Long Beach in 2006. Veronica then worked as a Reporter at LBCC Viking News from 2008 to 2011. In 2008, they also joined YMCA as an After-School Program Leader, a role they held until 2013. From 2010 to 2014, Veronica worked as an After-School Site Director at YMCA of Silicon Valley. Veronica then became a Teacher at Bright Horizons from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, Veronica joined California Heights United Meth as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher until 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they served as a Site Director at YMCA of Greater Long Beach. Currently, Veronica is working at GoGuardian, where they started as a Safety Support Specialist in 2020 and has since been promoted to Senior Safety Support Specialist in 2022.

Veronica Vega has a Bachelor's degree in Child Development from California State University, Long Beach. Veronica also holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Cañada College and an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Journalism from Long Beach City College.
