Jim Covert

Jim Covert has had extensive work experience in various software engineering roles. Jim most recently worked as a Lead Software Engineer at GoHealth starting in 2019. Prior to that, they were a Lead Web Engineer at MapR Technologies from 2016 to 2019. Jim also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Conversant, Inc. from 2012 to 2016, and at Dotomi from 2012 to 2014. Jim Covert also has experience as a Software Engineer at Nokia from 2010 to 2012, and at NAVTEQ from 2010 to 2012. Jim started their career as a Software Developer at Grossman & Associates, Inc. in 2008 and co-founded fusion.im where they worked as a Vice President, Co-Founder, and Developer in 2008. Prior to that, they worked as a Linux Administrator at Technology Services Group from 2006 to 2008.

Jim Covert obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from DePaul University from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2004 and 2008. In addition, they hold an Advanced Open Water Diver certification from PADI, obtained in 2019.
