Vikram Widge

Vikram Widge is a seasoned expert in climate finance and policy with extensive experience across various leading organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Climate Finance at the Climate Policy Initiative since January 2020, Vikram also holds advisory roles at GoImpact and arara.io, focusing on sustainable development and climate action financing. Previously, Vikram was a Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council, providing strategic guidance on resilience and impact investment, and held multiple prominent positions at the International Finance Corporation from 1994 to 2019, including Global Head of Climate Finance & Policy. Vikram's career began at ICF International, where significant contributions were made to energy and environmental impact analyses. Vikram holds a B Tech in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an MS in Resource Economics from the University of Maryland.
