Nitin Sam

Nitin Sam is an experienced aviation professional with a diverse background in various roles within the aerospace industry. Nitin served as a Senior First Officer and Airline Captain at IndiGo from January 2022 to September 2023, where responsibilities included managing the IndiGo cadet Pilot program and overseeing the training progress of over 300 cadets globally. Prior experiences include positions as an Operations Assistant at Qatar Aeronautical College, Recruitment Coordinator and Second Officer at Qatar Airways, and supervisory roles at the Doha Tribeca Film Festival. Nitin's early career involved working as Finance Controller and Head of Aerodynamics at Ashwa Racing, where efforts focused on designing and managing a formula-style race car project. Nitin holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from R. V. College of Engineering and a Frozen ATPL with Multi Engine CPL/IR from Cabair College of Air Training.
