Qualities I value in my colleagues
I feel like there is often an abundance of people who work hard, or get things done quickly and efficiently, and while I do VALUE those things I most value the skills that allow a working environment to be fun, collaborative, and creative. In a small bootstrapped company, we often need to be willing to make mistakes but take ownership of those mistakes when they happen. We must be open to new ideas and change and adapt ourselves to suit the needs of a new tool, service/product, or process. For me personally, this is what makes working with my co-workers most rewarding.
My communication style
I am VERY casual, and direct but also positive whenever possible. Co-workers (and most all adults) are best served by simply stating our feelings or struggles (and wins) concisely. Some folks take things too personally when really communication should merely be a tool to help us develop into better humans.
My pet peeves
Treat everyone well, dont talk behind people's backs. Pretty simple adult stuff.
Fun fact
My memories lose color over time. Around the 5 year mark most everything is in black and white.
Personal Q&A
When are you most productive during the day?
Later in the evening, since there are a lot of tests I like to run in our CRM that are best done when there are no other employees within the tool.
