Michael Windeler

Michael Windeler has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Michael currently serves as the Lead Engineer for Marine Infrastructure at Golar LNG since June 2021. Previously, they held the position of Director at Windeler Design Consultants Ltd since February 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Seadrill Management (S) Pte Ltd from June 2016 to December 2016. Michael also held the role of Engineering Manager (Newbuilds) at Seadrill Deepwater Units Pte. Ltd from February 2012 to May 2016. Before that, they served as the Department/Engineering Manager at Frigstad Engineering (Singapore) Pte Ltd from July 2010 to February 2012. Michael Windeler also has experience working at Transocean as a Newbuilds Engineer Manager, Project Engineer, and Naval Architect from 2007 to 2009, and at GlobalSantaFe Corp as an Ocean Engineer from 2001 to 2007.

Michael Windeler completed their education with a Certificate of Applied Science in Engineering from Acadia University in 1995. Michael then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Ocean & Naval Architectural Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1995 to 1999. Later on, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Offshore Engineering from the National University of Singapore from 2006 to 2008. Finally, they completed the Building on Talent Program from IMD in 2015 and 2016.
