Emily Mort

Emily Mort is an experienced metallurgist with a strong background in extractive metallurgy. Emily began a professional career as a Vacation Student at SGS in 2006 and progressed to a Metallurgical Technician role at Bureau Veritas from 2009 to 2010. Following this, Emily held positions as a Graduate Metallurgist and later as a Plant Metallurgist at St Barbara Limited from 2011 to 2021. In December 2021, Emily joined GOLD FIELDS, where roles included Process Superintendent and Senior Metallurgist until February 2024. Emily holds a Bachelor of Extractive Metallurgy from Murdoch University, completed in 2009.
