Marco Tassone

Marco Tassone is an experienced geology professional with over two decades in the mining industry. Currently serving as Geology Manager at Gold Fields since June 2014, Marco has previously held key roles at Newmont Mining Corporation, including Geology Manager, Resource Development Superintendent, and Senior Mine Geologist. Earlier positions include Senior Mine Geologist at KCGM and various roles at Newmont Mining Corporation and Newmont Australia, where Marco contributed significantly as a Senior Exploration Geologist and Project Mine Geologist. Marco holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from Curtin University, obtained between 1991 and 1994.
