Raymond Wattenhofer is an experienced mining professional with a diverse background in mine planning, business development, and technical management. Currently serving as Unit Manager for Business Development & Strategic Planning at GOLD FIELDS, Raymond is involved in M&A activities and strategic mine planning for the Ghana JV with AngloGold Ashanti. Previous roles include General Manager - Technical at Nu Fortune Gold, Registered Mine Manager at Summit Resource Holdings Pty Ltd, and Senior Mining Engineer at Resources and Energy Group. With credentials spanning a Master's in Mining Engineering from Federation University Australia and a Bachelor's from the Western Australian School of Mines, Raymond has a solid foundation in mining engineering complemented by extensive operational and leadership experience across various mining companies.
