Kirsten Sorensen, RN, BSN, CCM, CPHQ

Kirsten Sorensen, RN, BSN, CCM, CPHQ has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Kirsten began their career in 1989 as a Nurse Trainer/ House Float, Charge Nurse, and Floor Nurse/ Relief Charge Nurse at ValleyCare Health System. In 2002, they took on a role as a Registered Nurse at Renu Age Defying Laser Spa. In 1998, Sorensen began working as an Independent Consultant (Remote), PA Supervisor, Case Manager, and Concurrent Review Nurse at Hill Physicians Medical Group. Here, they earned progressive job scope throughout their tenure, advancing through the organization to supervisory roles for clinical and operational functions. In 2015, they joined Fresenius Medical Care North America as the Senior Director of Care Navigation, where they balanced the needs of specialty physicians, greater business goals, and NCQA reporting standards to deliver mutually beneficial solutions for all stakeholders. In 2022, Sorensen became the Vice President of Clinical Services at Gold Kidney Health Plan.
