Edmund Borketey

Edmund Borketey has a strong background in accounting and auditing with over 16 years of experience. Edmund is currently serving as the Director of Accounting at Gold Royalty Corp. and Uranium Royalty Corp. in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at BDO Canada as a Senior Manager in Audit, Assurance, and Accounting from July 2019 to December 2021. Before joining BDO Canada, Edmund worked at Deloitte for over 14 years, starting as a Junior & Senior Assistant in Audit, Assurance, and Tax in October 2005 and then progressing to roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior, Senior - Secondment, Manager, and finally leaving in July 2019.

Edmund Borketey attended the University of Professional Studies-Accra (upsa) from 2002 to 2006, where they pursued a degree in ACCA-UK. Their field of study focused on Accounting, Audit, Financial Management & Taxation. Alongside their degree, Edmund obtained several additional certifications. In 2008, they became a member of ACCA, and in 2010, they became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. Finally, in October 2013, they achieved the status of Fellow from ACCA.
