Kira Barbre

Kira Barbre is an experienced epidemiologist with a robust background in public health and program management. Presently serving as an Epidemiologist III at Goldbelt C6, LLC since January 2023, Kira has previously held significant roles at The Task Force for Global Health, Inc., including Associate Director of Programs and Senior Program Associate from February 2016 to December 2022. Prior to that, Kira worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a Health Scientist and held multiple positions within the Travelers' Health Branch and the Parasitic Diseases Branch from January 2010 to February 2016. Kira gained early experience as a Summer Intern at the National Institutes of Health in 2010 and as a Research Assistant at Emory University School of Medicine. Kira holds a Master's Degree in Global Epidemiology from Emory University (2009-2011) and a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Society, with minors in Anthropology and Asian Studies, from Beloit College (2005-2009).
