Mitchell Tyler

Mitchell Tyler is a Senior Analyst at Goldbelt, Incorporated, focusing on infectious disease outbreak surveillance and pandemic warning for the Department of Defense since June 2021. Prior to this role, Mitchell served as a Senior Scientist at ARA from November 2016 to June 2021, contributing as a civilian Subject Matter Expert for DTRA's technical reachback program. From June 2014 to November 2016, Mitchell was the Head of Research at Agilvax, a company specializing in immunotherapy discovery. Additional experience includes a Graduate Student role at the University of New Mexico, where Mitchell earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, and research in clinical neuroscience at the Biomedical Research Institute of New Mexico. Mitchell’s educational background also includes a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of New Mexico. While pursuing academic goals, Mitchell worked as a Tutor in various subjects between 2011 and 2014.
