Andy Hou

Andy Hou has a strong background in the banking and technology industry. Andy most recently served as the EVP - Chief Operating Officer at Golden Bank, N.A. since October 2018. Prior to that, they held the same position at Bank of the Orient from April 2016 to September 2018. Andy was also the Chief Information Security Officer at Panton Inc. from September 2014 to March 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked at MetroBank as the EVP - IT & Operations from February 2009 to January 2014 and as the SVP - IT & Operations from March 2008 to January 2009. Andy also served as the SVP - Network Manager at MetroBank from September 1999 to February 2008. Additionally, they gained experience at Schlumberger as a Network Administrator and at MetroBank N.A. as a Financial/Credit Analyst.

Andy Hou attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. Andy then pursued their MBA in Finance from Texas A&M University, graduating in 1993. Later on, from 2008 to 2010, Andy enrolled at Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business, specializing in Commercial Bank Management under the Banking degree program.
