Dennise Abad

Dennise Abad has a strong background in event planning and marketing. Dennise is currently the Director of Special Events at the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, where they oversee the production and management of various ticketed and non-ticketed events. Prior to this, they worked as the Marketing - Visitor Center at the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce and as the Marketing and Community Development at the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce. In 2008, Dennise served as the Director of Corporate Events at Harlot San Francisco, where they handled event production for high-profile corporate clients. Dennise also has experience as the Director of Marketing & Events at the British American Business Council Northern California and as the Leadership Team Event Coordinator / Administrative Assistant at the Stupski Foundation. Earlier in their career, they worked in vendor management at Best Beverage Catering.

Dennise Abad completed a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a focus on Public Policy and Urban Planning from San Francisco State University from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government from California State University - East Bay.
