Jonathan Dolan

Jonathan Dolan has a strong and extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. Jonathan has held various roles in prestigious organizations throughout their career.

Jonathan started their career in 1992 at Oregon State University, where they worked as a Network Engineer for eight years before moving into the role of Data Services Manager. Jonathan then served as an Assistant Director in the OSU Open Source Lab, where they provided leadership and management for the organization.

In 2007, Jonathan became the Chief Information Security Officer at Oregon State University, responsible for establishing security policies, incident response, and coordinating breach notifications. Jonathan held this role until 2013.

From 2015 to 2018, Jonathan served as the Deputy CIO at Oregon State University, where they played a key role in the institution's IT operations. Jonathan later became the Interim Chief Information Officer before transitioning to their role as Deputy CIO and Chief Data Officer in 2019.

In their most recent role at Oregon State University, Jonathan was the Deputy CIO and Chief Data Officer, overseeing the overall operations of the central IT organization, with a focus on delivering high-end IT services and infrastructure. Jonathan also led a team of 15 staff members to build and support the data and analytics environment for OSU's decision-makers.

In 2023, Jonathan will be joining Golden Gate University as the Chief Information Officer, where they will continue to contribute their expertise and leadership to the organization.

Jonathan Dolan obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Oregon State University in the years 1988 to 1992. Jonathan further pursued a Master's degree in Applied Information Management from the University of Oregon, from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Jonathan Dolan attended Cottage Grove High School from 1985 to 1987.
