Ms Yap Fei Chien (Malaysian, age 52) joined the Board of GLBHD as an Executive Director on 7 March 2002. She also serves GLBHD as a member of Employees’ Share Scheme Committee.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information System from Oklahoma State University, U.S.A., and a Master of Business Administration from University of South Alabama, U.S.A.
She joined the Group in 1999 as a Manager overseeing the Administration and Credit/Finance function of the timber manufacturing operation.
She is the sister of Mr Yap Phing Cern, the Chief Executive Officer and a substantial shareholder of GLBHD.

The Company's other segments is engaged in the business of property holding, provision of general construction and civil works, and property development. The Company's Sabah plantations and mill segment is in the business of cultivation of oil palm, processing of crude palm oil and palm kernel.
