Emil Masimov

Emil Masimov holds significant leadership positions within the telecommunications sector, currently serving as CEO of Azerconnect Group since November 2016. In addition, Masimov acts as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors for AzerTelecom, along with a board member role for the company. Since September 2017, Masimov has also held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at CityNet and serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board for GoldenPay OJSC since January 2022. Prior experience includes Chief GR & Regulatory Officer at NEQSOL HOLDING and Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Nar (Azerfon), where Masimov started in governmental relations before ascending to executive roles. Educational credentials encompass advanced degrees from prestigious institutions including Harvard Business School and The University of Manchester, along with foundational studies in political management from The Academy of Public Administration in Azerbaijan.
