Darren Varley

Darren Varley, VP of Business Retention and Creative Services has been with Golden Shovel Agency since 2011, having held the positions of Web Designer and Lead GateKeeper Representative, prior to his current role. Darren earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design and a Minor in Advertising. He has over 25 years of experience in the marketing world as a Graphic Designer and Creative Director.

Darren’s day-to-day responsibilities include keeping clients happy through monthly meetings and managing/updating requests, recommending content and design ideas, making sure projects are on track, reviewing analytics and website performance, and keeping his brain sane. He also helps with creating promotional material for Golden Shovel and design elements for clients. His favorite projects so far have been working with clients that are located close to him geographically.
