Roger Sancho

Assistant Athletic Trainer & Performance Coach at Golden State Warriors

Roger Sancho begins his seventh season with the Warriors organization and his fifth season with the Golden State Warriors training staff as an assistant athletic trainer.

Prior to his current role, Sancho spent two seasons with the Santa Cruz Warriors as the head athletic trainer for Golden State’s NBA G League affiliate. During that time, he also assisted the Golden State training staff beginning with the club’s championship season in 2014-15.

Sancho, 30, gained experience at Southern Methodist University as an intern athletic trainer and at Baylor University as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. He worked with the SMU Football team, as well as the Baylor Track and Field team, prior to joining the Warriors organization. The Sulphur Springs, Texas, native earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2012, and his master’s degree from Baylor University in 2014. Sancho currently lives in San Francisco, with his fiancé, Nicolette, and their dogs, Dak and Chi.
