Michael Hamlett

Michael Hamlett is an experienced IT professional currently serving as Senior IT Manager of Data Strategies at Golden Corral Corporation since June 2022. With a strong background in data modernization and integration, Michael is also self-employed as an Information Technology Consultant, aiding companies in enhancing their data flow and reporting systems, particularly using Azure and PowerBI. From December 1988 to April 2020, Michael held multiple leadership positions at Golden Corral, including Chief Systems Architect and Manager of Technology and Web Development, where responsibilities included overseeing IT operations, software design, and business intelligence interface management. Michael began their career as a System Analyst at Kenan Transport, progressing from junior RPG programmer to Systems Analyst. Michael holds an Associate's degree in Information Technology from Alamance Community College.
