Anna Phillips

Anna Phillips serves as the GS Growth | Value Accelerator Lead EMEA at Goldman Sachs since February 2017 and has held the role of Head of Business Development for Goldman Sachs Investment Partners. Additionally, Anna is a Board Member for PeacePlayers International in the Middle East since June 2022. Previous experience includes managing strategic partnerships at Start-Up Nation Central, founding and directing Girls Kick It—a program empowering young women in Uganda, and consulting for Nordic Consulting Group Uganda Ltd. Anna also served as a Presidential Administrative Fellow at George Washington University, focusing on foundation fundraising for civic engagement programs, and conducted research on gender representation in Uganda's Parliament as a Fulbright Scholar. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Development, Politics and Governance from The George Washington University, a program in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a focus on International Human Rights from The George Washington University.
