Praveen Korapaty

Praveen Korapaty serves as the Chief Interest Rates Strategist at Goldman Sachs since June 2018. Prior to this role, Praveen held the position of Global Head of Interest Rates Strategy at Credit Suisse from June 2015 to May 2018, focusing on global G10 interest rates. Praveen's earlier experience includes serving as the Head of Interest Rate Derivatives at JPMorgan Chase & Co. between November 2011 and May 2015, where responsibilities encompassed US Liquid Markets Strategy, and as Vice President at Lehman Brothers/Barclays Capital from May 2005 to August 2011, concentrating on Fixed Income Strategy and Credit Strategy. Praveen's academic credentials include a PhD and MA in Finance from The Wharton School (2001-2005), an MS in Operations Research from The University of Texas at Austin (1998-2001), and a BTech in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (1994-1998).
