Sylvain Gendrot

Sylvain Gendrot has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of DevOps and Cloud Computing. Sylvain currently works as a DevOps Lead at Golem.ai, where they are responsible for implementing a high-performance and highly available architecture for analyzing language. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineer DevOps - SRE at Frichti, where they managed a large number of micro-services on Kubernetes and implemented CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab-CI and Helm charts. Additionally, Sylvain has experience as a Freelance DevOps Engineer at CANAL+ Group, where they worked on a team managing a complex architecture across On-Premise and Cloud environments. Sylvain also has experience as a Cloud AWS Trainer, where they dedicated himself full-time to training activities. Before that, Sylvain worked as a DevOps Engineer and Middleware Tools Engineer at Alkymia - Thirdeye and as a Systems Administrator at Alkymia. Sylvain has also worked independently on projects as a Developer, including one called Hildr, which focused on generating mobile applications from WordPress blogs. Prior to their independent work, Sylvain held technical roles at the French Ministry of Defense, where they worked on IT support, incident analysis, and server management. Overall, Sylvain has a strong background in DevOps, cloud computing, and systems administration.

Sylvain Gendrot attended Académie Nancy-Metz from 2003 onwards, where they pursued a BTS degree in Industrial Informatics. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services, completing the AWS Solutions Architect – Associate Level course in December 2016 with an overall score of 85%. Furthermore, in July 2016, Sylvain obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification with an impressive overall score of 90%.
