Barbara Lovejoy, SHRM-CP, PHR has over 15 years of comprehensive human resource experience. Barbara is currently serving as President of the Central Maine Human Resource Association and is also the Director of Human Resources at GoNetspeed. In the past, they have held roles such as Founding Member at TroopHR, Human Resources Consultant/Business Partner at Central Maine Healthcare, Director of Organizational Development at FastMed Urgent Care, Director-Elect and SHRM Certification Director at SHRM Maine State Council, Director of Human Resources and Education at Community Health Options, President of the Central Maine Human Resource Association, Human Resource and Professional Development Manager at Support Solutions, and Community Relations Coordinator at Advocates for Children. Throughout their career, Barbara has demonstrated expertise in employee relations, strategic planning, change management, benefits administration, organizational development, and recruitment and retention.

Barbara Lovejoy, SHRM-CP, PHR, pursued their post-secondary education at the University of Southern Maine from 1985 to 2007. During this period, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Leadership Organizational Studies. In addition to their academic achievements, Barbara has acquired various certifications to enhance their professional profile. In 2014, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) credential from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI and also achieved the same designation from SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management). Furthermore, in 2015, Barbara obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM, further expanding their knowledge and expertise in the field of human resources.
