Eugene Roif

Eugene Roif has a strong background in DevOps and IT security, with experience spanning over a decade. Eugene started their career in 2007 at Israel Defense Forces, where they worked as a Senior System Administrator. In this role, Eugene provided maintenance and support for critical IT systems, administered Netapp storage, and implemented new technologies for improved services.

In 2010, Eugene joined Netcom Malam-Team International Ltd. as a DevOps and Senior System Administrator. Eugene was initially hired as a full-time security architect, integrating security products into Windows, Unix, and Linux systems. Later, they transitioned to providing DevOps and system administration services, specializing in data center infrastructure, network, and IT security. Eugene also provided support and knowledge to other IT teams.

From 2017 to 2022, Eugene worked at PayPal as part of the Security & Integration team. During this time, they played a role in enhancing the company's security practices and integrating systems.

In 2022, Eugene joined Gong as a DevSecOps Engineer.

Eugene Roif obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel, where they studied from 2019 to 2024. Alongside their computer science studies, they also pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree in Law at Sapir College, which they completed from 2019 to 2022. Furthermore, in April 2023, Eugene Roif obtained the certification of Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from The Linux Foundation.
