Ran Ruder

Ran Ruder has a diverse work experience spanning over 24 years. In 1996, they served as a Staff Sergeant (NCO) in the Israel Defence Force. From 2004 to 2010, they worked as a Software Engineer at Mentor Graphics, where they developed a .Net C# application for optimizing PCB assembly process. During their tenure, they designed and implemented unique and innovative features for the product. As a Freelancer from 2010 to 2011, they independently created a cable network management web application for Partner Communications, one of Israel's largest communication companies. This involved designing, implementing, and deploying the application, as well as creating efficient algorithms for network performance optimization and expansion planning. From 2011 to 2017, Ran Ruder worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Opera Solutions, where they focused on developing cutting-edge web applications, including data visualizations, dashboards, and interactive UI using JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and REST. In 2017, they joined Gong.io as a Front-end Developer.

Ran Ruder obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in computer engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, which they attended from 1999 to 2003. Following a gap of several years, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Philosophy at Tel Aviv University between 2007 and 2010. It is worth noting that they returned to Technion - Israel Institute of Technology for their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in computer engineering, completing it during the same period from 1999 to 2003.
