Ruth Aloni-Lavi

ASR Research Scientist at Gong

Ruth Aloni-Lavi has a diverse work experience in the field of ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) research and development. Ruth began their career in 1990 at Comverse, where they worked as an Algorithm Developer, focusing on developing speech recognition systems based on HMM (Hidden Markov Model) and Neural Network mechanisms. In 2000, they joined Intel as an ASR and Communication Algorithms Researcher, where they designed an architecture to handle coexistence issues of multi transceivers and implemented a multi simulation tool for simulating coexistence interferences.

After Intel, Ruth worked at Pudding Media as an ASR Algorithm Researcher, contributing to the development of a Large Vocabulary Continuous Speech Recognition (LVCSR) platform and establishing procedures for training acoustic and language models. Ruth then joined Nice as a Content & Speech Algorithms Researcher, where they continued their work on LVCSR platforms and model training.

From 2015 to 2018, Ruth worked as a Senior Research Scientist at ACLP - Afeka Center for Language Processing at Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering. Ruth'sresponsibilities included research and development in language processing.

Currently, Ruth is an ASR Research Scientist at Gong.io, a company that specializes in analyzing customer interactions to empower revenue and go-to-market teams. Ruth'srole involves utilizing Gong's patented Revenue Intelligence Platform to unlock insights and determine the best actions for winning outcomes.

Ruth Aloni-Lavi pursued their education from 1984 to 1989 at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Physics and Mathematics.
