Tareq Hasan

Tareq Hasan is a dedicated psychologist with extensive experience in mental health and psychosocial support. Currently employed at Gonoshasthaya Kendra since January 2022, Tareq focuses on improving beneficiaries' mental health and psychosocial well-being. Previously, Tareq served as a Psychosocial Officer at BRAC, where the role involved identifying ultra-poor individuals, including those with disabilities, who required psychosocial support. Tareq's background also includes positions as a Mental Health Counselor at Terre des hommes foundation, Field Coordinator at COAST Foundation, and Youth Counselor at SOS Children's Villages International, showcasing a strong commitment to child advocacy and community service. Tareq holds a Master's degree in Educational & Developmental Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Jagannath University, Dhaka.
