Catherine Angel Ed.d

Catherine Angel Ed.D has extensive experience in education and athletics, currently serving as a Substitute Teacher at North Pines Middle School since September 2024, and as an Assistant Track and Field Coach at Gonzaga Preparatory School since February 2023. Catherine has held various roles, including Sports Coordinator for Spokane Youth Sports Association and University Recruiting Coordinator at Cielo Talent, focusing on talent recruitment aligned with diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives. Previous coaching experience includes positions at Sand Creek High School and Gonzaga Preparatory School, while earlier roles in hospitality and human resources involved process improvement and marketing strategies. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Marquette University, a Master's in Sport Management from Cardinal Stritch University, a Doctorate in Sport and Athletic Management from Northcentral University, and is pursuing a Master's in Secondary Education at Western Governors University.
