Tefi Ma'ake has extensive experience in the field of education and campus ministry. They started their career in 2001 as the Director of Campus Ministry and Educator at Bishop Conaty - Our Lady of Loretto. In 2007, they joined Loyola Marymount University as a Resident Minister and also took on the role of Director of Campus Ministry and Educator at Notre Dame Academy Los Angeles. In 2018, they became the Assistant Head of School for Mission at Notre Dame Academy Los Angeles. Currently, Tefi Ma'ake is employed at Gonzaga Preparatory School as the Director of Equity and Inclusion and also serves as a Theology Teacher and Campus Minister.
Tefi Ma'ake completed an MTS degree in Religious Education / Multicultural Theology at Franciscan School of Theology from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, Tefi earned an MA degree in Secondary Education from Loyola Marymount University between 2001 and 2003. Tefi's undergraduate studies were also completed at Loyola Marymount University, where they obtained a BA degree in Sociology / Theological Studies from 1997 to 2001.
