Cassandra Slagg has a variety of work experience in the IT and communications field. Cassandra started their career at Northwest Woman Magazine as an Account Executive from October 2004 to January 2005. Cassandra then worked at Spokane Falls Community College as an Admissions/Registration II from November 2001 to February 2005. Following that, they worked at Gonzaga University in roles such as Program Assistant II, Program Assistant III, Technology Coordinator in the Career Center, IT Policy Communication and Software Training Specialist, IT Communication and Training Manager, and Director in IT Communication and Training Services. Their responsibilities at Gonzaga University included website and software implementation, marketing IT policies and services, designing and presenting training sessions, and overseeing training and communication activities. Their most recent role at Gonzaga University was as the Director of IT Service Experience, in which they ensured effective IT service delivery and support.
Cassandra Slagg received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Communication and Public Relations from Gonzaga University, where they studied from 2005 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Associate of Applied Science degree in Information Technology- Multi Media at ITT Technical Institute from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications in ITIL (IT Service Management) from AXELOS Global Best Practice, including the ITIL 4 Managing Professional certification in 2022, the ITIL Expert Managing Across the Lifecycle (ITIL-MALC) certification in 2020, and several intermediate level certifications in IT Service Transition, IT Service Strategy, IT Continual Service Improvement, IT Service Design, and IT Service Operation between 2017 and 2019.
