Dori Sonntag has a diverse work experience that spans several years. Dori has held various roles at Gonzaga University, including Associate Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Advancement, Associate Vice President for Organizational Effectiveness, University Advancement, Assistant Vice President, Development, Director of Development, and Director of Development Operations. In these positions, they managed administrative aspects associated with development operations, provided oversight for administrative and financial operations, and implemented gift acceptance policies and procedures. Additionally, Dori worked as the Director of Annual Giving at Gonzaga University. Dori also has experience as a Coach at Activate 180, where they empower clients and partner companies using the Activate 180 Methodology to improve employee performance and satisfaction. Furthermore, Dori works as a Leadership and Executive Coach at CORE Leadership Coaching.

Dori Sonntag MA, CPC has a diverse education history. Dori began their education at Billings Central from 1989 to 1993 but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Dori then attended Gonzaga University where they earned a BA in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from 1993 to 1997. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at Gonzaga University from 1999 to 2004. In 2014 to 2015, Dori received certification as a Certified Career and Executive Coach and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. In 2016, they obtained a CIQ-Enhanced Skills Coach certification in Conversational Intelligence® from Conversational Intelligence® For Coaches - Judith Glaser. Recently, in 2021, they obtained a Darden Executive Education & Lifelong Learning Certificate in Design Thinking from UVA Darden Executive Education & Lifelong Learning.
