Sarah James

Sarah James has a diverse work history in the field of human resources. Sarah has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise and experience. Sarah started their career as an HR Business Partner at Thomson Reuters (Digita) from an unknown date until 2009. Sarah then joined Cooperative Group as an HR Adviser from July 2009 to July 2010. After that, they worked briefly as an HR Manager at Royal Devon & Exeter in October 2010. From April 2011 to February 2016, they served as the Group Human Resources Manager at Broad Oak Toiletries. In 2016, they held HR Manager positions at Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust, North Devon District Hospital, and Aid Call, with varying durations. In 2017, they joined Epwin Group Plc as a Regional HR Business Partner for a few months before moving to G&H Photonics. At G&H Photonics, they had a series of roles, starting as an HR Manager and UK Compliance Lead from September 2017 to April 2019. Sarah then became an HR Business Partner-PO & Systems MC from April 2019 to April 2021. Sarah continued their career at G&H Photonics as the Human Resources Director - PO / Systems MC from April 2021 to May 2022. Sarah was then promoted to Head of Global HR from May 2022 to July 2023, and currently holds the position of Human Resources Director UK, EU & APAC at G&H Photonics since May 2023.

Sarah James has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Criminology & Psychology from Keele University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Sarah also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) from Nottingham University Business School, which they obtained from 1998 to 1999. Additionally, Sarah has a certification in IOSH Managing Safely Course from IOSH.
